The Alley Pond Striders welcome you to Eastern Queens for their annual Alley Pond Strider Challenge Race in pastoral Alley Pond Park. Forged by a glacier in the last ice age, Alley Pond Park features natural beauty rarely seen in New York City: fresh and saltwater wetlands, tidal flats, meadows, and forests.
