Alley Pond Striders 5 Mile Challenge

The Alley Pond Striders welcome you to Eastern Queens for their annual 5-Mile Challenge in pastoral Alley Pond Park. Forged by a glacier in the last ice age, Alley Pond Park features natural beauty rarely seen in New York City: fresh and saltwater wetlands, tidal flats, meadows, and forests. Truly a great place to run.

The Alley Pond Striders 5-Mile Challenge offers splits at every mile, a souvenir T-shirt, and a post-race awards ceremony. Trophies will go to the top three men and women overall. The top three in each age group category will receive an award from the Striders.

There will also be a kids race starting at 9AM.
