Congratulations to Alley Pond Strider Vivien Lim
Congratulations to Alley Pond Strider Vivien Lim who ran the Massapequa Park one miler on Sunday, August 6th in 5:43! Vivien set a new Long Island record for 40-44 women's age group (outdoor)! The previous record was 5:48 that was set in 2007.
That follows on the heals of her son Calvin who in June 2017 set the Long Island outdoor record for boys 9/10 age group in the 100 meters in 13.28 and the long jump in 4.20m (13.09.50).
The Striders are very proud of our mother/son record-holding team of Vivien and Calvin!! Congrats!
